Magnetic Pufferfish Rescuers

Build a rover and guide a pufferfish through an ocean maze using a magnet.

The Solution Squad needed to carry a pufferfish and a precious gem across a dangerous ocean ravine. Children designed their own submarines using boxes, foam, clay, pipe cleaners, and colored filter sheets.

A magnet inside each creation allowed a magnetic wand to steer it around the course. The challenge called for dexterity, focus, and patience. After trying their routes, the children completed the rescue and earned their Maze Master badges.
