The Friendship Fort
Build a cozy clay shelter for a little fox.
A finished clay Friendship Fort with its fox residents.
Freya the fox asked the Solution Squad to help her cousins by making cozy caves. Children shaped air drying clay around their fox figurines, with small LED circuits adding another element to the project.
Keeping a clay roof standing proved harder than expected. The children also found that adding colorful sand changed how well the clay held together. With troubleshooting and adult support, everyone completed a fort for a fox.
