The Solution Squad became insulation engineers, building sanctuaries to protect butterflies from an imaginary Arctic blast. Children chose and arranged soft materials in their own ways.
They watched thermometers, adjusted insulation, and tested the shelters. Michaela’s recap describes every butterfly being saved, with the children discovering the effects of their choices through direct observation.
